1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong multi-specialty OR experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a hospital in Albany, NY. Details Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Every 3rd weekend rotation required Rotating holiday coverage required Possible on-call requirement Uses Epic EMR Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent CST/OR experience required Strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical experience required
NBSTSA CST
certification required BLS or equivalent certification from AHA or RQI required Epic EMR experience required Active NYS license required if applicable US Social Security Number required Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations are not accepted No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility but outside the ineligible counties may be subject to radius review Any requested time off (RTO) must be communicated prior to consideration No blocked scheduling is permitted More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week contract period may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
