Schedule/Hours:
Travel position (duration varies, flexibility required) Rotating shifts possible depending on surgical schedule
Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred A minimum of recent CVOR experience in an acute care setting BLS certification Familiarity with a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and perioperative team during cardiovascular operations Prepare, set up, and ensure sterility of operating suite and instruments Anticipate surgeon needs in high-acuity environments Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain surgical equipment Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols Collaborate closely with nurses and anesthesia providers for optimal patient outcomes
