7:00 AM•7:30 PM (12-hour shifts) Occasional need for night shifts (7:00 PM•7:00 AM) Weekend rotation required On-call is not required, but candidates willing to take call may have the opportunity.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to support a busy Labor & Delivery department. This is a critical assignment for a highly skilled CST who is flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced obstetrical environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nursing staff during Labor & Delivery surgical procedures, including C-sections. Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments. Stock Labor & Delivery rooms and surgical areas. Assist with cleaning and turnover of patient rooms and operating rooms in collaboration with Environmental Services (housekeeping may not always be available on night shifts). Float to other hospital areas as needed when Labor & Delivery census is low. Support onboarding by helping orient newly hired LPNs and Surgical Technicians. Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure procedure readiness. Follow all hospital policies related to infection prevention and patient safety.
Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant Labor & Delivery Surgical Tech experience preferred. Experience assisting with Cesarean sections strongly preferred. Ability to work rotating weekends. Flexibility to work occasional night shifts. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. #

$2,000.00•$2,140.00 per week
