Conveniently located in Manhattan and Great Neck, Long Island, we serve a broad patient base from the wider New York area and beyond. Our facilities are designed to offer a comprehensive and personalized experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for both our Great Neck and New York City locations . Must be able to commute to both locations, which are in Great Neck, and New York City. Scrub Tech's will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms, organizing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining equipment, keeping track of surgical inventory, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitary regulations, and assisting during surgical procedures by passing instruments and other supplies. The CST will ensure a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols, directly contributing to successful surgical outcomes. The role also involves coordinating with other medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification Experience in preparing operating rooms and organizing surgical instruments Skills in assisting surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterility, and following safety protocols Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Compliance with all regulatory and safety standards Experience in plastic surgery is a plus Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields
