  • 11:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and certified Surgical/Operating Room Technician to support a high-acuity Adult Operating Room in a Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong scrub experience and recent operating room exposure across multiple surgical specialties, including trauma, orthopedics, vascular, ENT, gynecology, and general surgery. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical cases Scrub and assist surgeons during procedures Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instruments efficiently Perform surgical counts as per patient safety protocols Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transport Handle and maintain surgical instruments and specialty equipment Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and OR team Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines Support emergency and trauma procedures when required Assist with OR turnover between cases Maintain accurate procedural documentation Qualifications Current Surgical Technologist Certification required Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience within the last 4 years Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center or Teaching Hospital required Strong scrub experience required Experience in trauma, ortho, general surgery, ENT, vascular, gynecology, neurosurgery, bariatric, and urology cases preferred OB scrub experience preferred Ability to work independently in high-acuity settings Strong communication and teamwork skills Must pass pre-employment health clearance Travel experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted with strong background) No active suspension or investigation on certification For more details contact
