Rochester, NY Shift:
12 hours shift
D/E/N Rotating Shift Certification Required:
NBSTSA Certification and AHA BLS Experience Required:
•10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician•Minimum Two (2) years of Experience as a
Cardiac or OR Responsibilities:
Prepare and organize the operating room before surgical procedures. Ensure all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and readily available. Establish and maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure. Scrub in and assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, sponges, and other sterile supplies. Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts before, during, and after surgery. Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning, skin preparation, and draping. Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment and specialty instruments. Handle, label, and transport surgical specimens according to facility protocols
