Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Surgical / Operating Room Technician to support surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment . This role requires strong scrub experience and the ability to work independently while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety across a variety of surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms to ensure sterility and readiness for procedures Assist surgeons and nursing staff as a scrub technician during surgeries Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control standards Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment Support procedures across specialties including: Trauma Orthopedic General Surgery ENT Vascular Gynecology Anticipate surgeon needs to ensure efficient workflow Perform instrument counts and documentation per protocol Assist with patient positioning and intra-facility transport Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams Follow all safety policies and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience (within the last 4 years) Strong scrub experience required Experience across multiple surgical specialties (trauma, ortho, general, ENT, vascular, GYN) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Level I or Level II trauma center settings

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work variable evening and rotating shifts First Assist responsibilities are not applicable First-time travelers may be considered with relevant comparable experience
