Hours/Week Shift:

8:00 AM

• 4:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Technician (CST) for a contract assignment in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong surgical support experience, including cardiac cases, and be proficient in maintaining sterile environments and assisting during complex procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and operating rooms Support patient positioning, draping, and specimen handling Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts accurately Assist with operating room turnover and equipment sterilization Support circulating duties and patient transport as needed Requirements Minimum 2 years of OR Technician experience in a hospital setting Cardiac surgery experience required (must be clearly listed on resume) CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required BLS certification (AHA) required High School Diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited CST training program required Additional Information Fast-paced surgical environment Opportunity to work on specialized cardiac procedures For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
