Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after procedures Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing sterile instruments and supplies Maintain strict aseptic technique and identify any breaks in sterile field protocol Handle and prepare specimens for laboratory processing Clean and restock operating rooms between procedures Assist with inventory management of surgical supplies and equipment Support a positive, patient-centered surgical experience Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient surgical operations What You Bring Current Surgical Technologist certification required Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience preferred CurrentBLS/ACLS
