Key Qualifications:

Current national certification as a Surgical Tech (CST) or equivalent Previous experience in the operating room as a Certified Surgical Tech or ORT Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation Ability to anticipate surgeon's needs and prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities Valid BLS certification, up to date immunizations, and the ability to meet facility credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for procedures Assist surgical teams during operations, maintaining strict adherence to protocols Manage surgical instruments and supplies throughout procedures Ensure patient safety and comfort during perioperative phases Maintain accurate documentation and assist with the turnover of surgical suites
