5 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 1 year of OR experience for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital OR Complex in Oklahoma City, OK. Details Day shift position in a large OR Complex with 23 ORs, currently operating out of 18 Patient population includes neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, OMF, and general surgery cases 1:1 patient ratio Equipment varies depending on surgical specialty Epic EMR Call is required: 2 primary and 2 backup call shifts over a 2-month period, with rotating self-sign-up opportunities; call hours run Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 AM Weekend hours required as determined by facility Floating required as determined by facility 36-hour work week Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience BLS certification from the American Heart Association required CST credential preferred Epic EMR experience preferred No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted License required if applicable; all licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration, with no expirations within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal documentation is provided Additional Information Light blue scrubs are required and provided by the facility Flu vaccination is required for all travelers; exemptions must be client-approved Prior travel experience of 1 or more years is preferred Candidates are expected to be professional, enthusiastic, and willing to participate in all aspects of patient care and teamwork across perioperative areas Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for the position but are subject to a reduced bill rate and are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at the facility; after completing 3 consecutive contracts, candidates must either separate from the facility for a minimum of 1 year or transition to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
