Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with variable shifts to support surgical services
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery, ensuring proper instrumentation and sterile fields Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers during operative procedures Maintain highest standards of infection control and patient safety throughout procedures Accurately track surgical supplies, equipment, and patient records Support post-operative care and participate in updates on best practices and procedural improvements
Desired Qualifications:
Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent ORT experience Valid state licensure (if applicable) and up-to-date BLS certification Minimum of one year's experience in an OR or surgical setting preferred Strong interpersonal and adaptability skills Commitment to continuous learning and patient care excellence
