Travel assignment; flexible schedule options may be availableRequired Skills & Qualifications:
NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) certification required Additional First Assistant (FA) certification required Proven experience supporting surgical procedures in an OR environment Adaptability in fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical teams Strong technical knowledge and ability to anticipate the needs of surgeonsPrimary Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain sterile fields, passing instruments and supplies to surgeons as needed Collaborate closely with perioperative team members for optimal patient outcomes Ensure that all operating room protocols and standards for safety are met Assist with preoperative preparation and immediate postoperative care Maintain clear and concise documentation of instruments, sponges, and countsPerks and Benefits:
