Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic surgical environment in Gresham, OR, offering a 13-week contract opportunity for experienced professionals with specialized skills in Nursing - ORT or as a Certified Surgical Technologist. You'll collaborate closely with dedicated teams, making a direct impact on surgical outcomes and patient care.

Schedule:

10-hour day shifts: 6:45am-5:15pm Specific working days to be determined during the interview

Qualifications:

Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or advanced experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification At least 2 years of relevant experience in a surgical or operating room setting Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative protocols Exceptional teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills Commitment to patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment

Role Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are set up prior to procedures Assist surgeons and clinical staff during operations, anticipating needs and handling surgical instruments with precision Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures Safeguard patient well-being by monitoring for, identifying, and reporting any concerns during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases Participate in surgical counts, equipment care, and post-procedure room turnover to ensure optimal workflow Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless surgical care
