Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise to a dynamic surgical team as a Certified Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technologist. In this 13-week contract assignment, you'll play an integral role in ensuring safe and effective surgical procedures within a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Schedule:

10-hour shifts, Days 6:45am-5:15pm Specific days of the week will be discussed during your interview

Qualifications:

Certification as a Surgical Technologist or comparable training as an Operating Room Technologist (ORT) Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in the operating room setting Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and procedure-specific protocols Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity environments and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterilized and set up Assist surgeons and operating room staff by passing instruments, supplies, and maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures Monitor and maintain safe patient care practices, including verifying patient identity and procedure details Anticipate the needs of surgical teams and respond quickly during procedures Handle specimens and surgical instruments according to established protocols Assist with post-procedure room turnover and supply restocking to support ongoing operational efficiency Thrive in an atmosphere where your skills are valued and your contributions have a direct impact on patient care.
