Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Certified OR Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment in Oregon City, Oregon . This opportunity is ideal for a skilled surgical technologist with strong orthopedic and spine experience who thrives in a fast-paced operating room environment.

July 27, 2026 Requirements Minimum 4 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience . Active BLS Certification required. Previous travel experience required. Community hospital experience required. Strong experience in orthopedics , including total joints, sports medicine, trauma, and spine procedures . Proficiency in general surgery, gynecology, ENT, urology, endoscopy, podiatry, and orthopedic cases. Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical record systems preferred. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 100 hours every 4 weeks ). Must have reliable transportation for the assignment. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are available and functioning properly. Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures and assist the surgical team during operations. Scrub and assist with orthopedic, spine, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, urology, endoscopy, and podiatry procedures. Anticipate the surgeon's needs by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently. Perform instrument counts and ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards. Assist with patient positioning and preparation before surgery. Support room turnover, equipment cleaning, and preparation for subsequent procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient surgical care. Participate in required on-call coverage, including weekend call, as scheduled.

$45.00 - $51.00 per hour
