Full-Time, Hourly Reports to: Nurse Manager and Medical Director, Dialysis Access Center About the Role We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team at the Dialysis Access Center. This vital position supports our interventional nephrologists and clinical team by maintaining sterile procedures, ensuring patient safety, and managing procedure room readiness and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support:
Maintain a thorough understanding of sterile technique and sterile core areas. Assist with patient positioning, preps, and drapes patient for procedures. Assist the interventional nephrologist as the first assistant during procedures. Ensure patient care is delivered with attention to safety, privacy, and dignity. Demonstrates knowledge and correct usage of surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Efficiency and Time Management:
Complete clinical tasks promptly and effectively. Turn over the procedure room between cases within required timelines. Utilize downtime efficiently to support overall department flow.
Inventory and Equipment Oversight:
Order, stock, and track inventory for interventional procedures. Monitor and help manage select contracts to ensure compliance and functionality.

Must be able to lift, reach above head, bend at the waist or kneel, stand or sit for long periods of time, display manual dexterity, walk or otherwise transport self to other areas of the practice, hear or detect pages and the phone and respond appropriately, communicate with other individuals for the provision and gathering of information.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
License/Certifications:
Surgical Technologist Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)-NBSTSA Certification required. Current BLS certification
