Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) Active nursing license in good standing Prior experience assisting in operating room procedures and supporting surgical teams Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical equipment, and safety procedures Excellent communication and collaborative skills Adaptability and problem-solving abilities, especially in fast-paced environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and necessary equipment Assist surgical teams before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal workflow and patient safety Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control protocols Facilitate instrument counts and support surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff Monitor inventory and restock OR supplies as needed Contribute to a supportive, professional team environment focused on positive patient outcomes
