Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career by utilizing your expertise as a CVOR Tech in a dynamic and collaborative environment dedicated to exceptional patient care. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with specialized skills in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures who are passionate about supporting surgical teams and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract position
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech in a clinical or hospital setting Proficient in assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures and maintaining sterile fields In-depth understanding of CVOR instrumentation, equipment setup, and safety protocols Certification as a Surgical Technologist or relevant CVOR credential highly preferred Strong communication abilities to collaborate efficiently with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering constantly to healthcare regulations Flexibility to respond to evolving patient and surgical team needs in a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and operating room staff during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to CVOR surgeries Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques throughout the operative process Monitor inventory and facilitate efficient restocking of supplies for seamless procedural flow Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures Participate in team debriefings, room turnover, and quality assurance measures
