Qualifications and Experience:

Certification and experience as a CVOR Tech or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required Previous hands-on experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and cardiac surgical procedures Ability to anticipate the needs of surgical teams in high-pressure situations Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Valid BLS certification

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time schedule required; shift details to be discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and arrange surgical instruments and equipment for cardiovascular procedures Assist surgeons and nurses during open heart and vascular cases Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols Handle specimen collection and labeling according to facility standards Monitor inventory and ensure availability of necessary supplies Support patient safety and contribute to a culture of quality improvement within the surgical suite
