Job Description

York Hospital, we are a Community. For Life. We have an opportunity for an experienced Monitor Technician. The Monitor Tech provides exceptional customer service to patients, guests and staff.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Continuous observation, interpretation and documentation of ECG data of monitored patients. Report arrhythmias and significant variances of heart rates and rhythms to the patient's nurse. Assists with admitting/discharging patients within the telemetry system. Monitors normal and variant cardiac rates and rhythms. Telemetry system troubleshooting and maintenance. Assist nurses with patient movement, and EKGs. Clerical, chart maintenance, supply orders, and any other duties as needed. In order to continue to provide exceptional care for our patients we need you to have the following: Minimum (1) or more years of relevant healthcare experience. Excellent customer service/bedside skills. Computer skills are a must.
