Key Qualifications:
Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist or relevant CVOR Tech program Current certification as a CVOR Tech preferred Previous experience in cardiovascular operating room setting Proficiency with surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and documentation Strong communication and adaptability skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare surgical suites and ensure all instruments and equipment are sterile and functional Assist cardiovascular surgeons during procedures by anticipating their needs and ensuring patient safety Handle surgical specimens and maintain accurate documentation Support the surgical team in a high-acuity environment with professionalism and poise Adhere to all hospital safety and infection control protocols
