Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and certified Surgical Technologist / Surgical Assistant to support our surgical team in a fast-paced cosmetic surgery environment. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room, assisting surgeons during procedures, preparing patients for surgery, and supporting post-operative care when needed. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a surgical clinic or operating room setting and demonstrates strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered mindset. Key Responsibilities Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgery through proper sterilization, processing, and packaging Prepare and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operating room Assist surgeons during procedures and anticipate intraoperative needs Prepare surgical patients prior to procedures and provide reassurance Clean and reset operating room between cases Maintain weekly and monthly sterilization and equipment cleaning reports Assist with post-operative care and medication support as needed Maintain accurate patient notes and documentation Follow and maintain established clinical protocols Assist with audio/visual media production as needed Continuously self-educate on treatments, techniques, and best practices Essential Skills & Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of experience in a surgical clinic or OR setting Excellent communication skills Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to anticipate needs and transition operatory quickly and efficiently Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Team-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Empathetic and patient-focused Ability to instill confidence while preparing patients for surgery Ability to stand for extended periods Strong knowledge of sterilization, processing, and infection control best practices Success Factors / Performance Expectations Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Adhere to strict OSHA, safety, and office protocols Follow office policies and procedures consistently Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist in other areas as needed Forward-thinking with ability to anticipate patient and provider needs

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
