1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 3 years of OR experience for a 13-week hospital surgery unit assignment in Cedar Park, TX. Details 6-OR surgical unit offering a wide range of procedures including gynecology, urology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, general surgery, and select vascular cases Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required License required if applicable Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address (no international addresses) Two professional references required for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Skills checklist required for consideration Additional Information Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including setup of instruments and supplies prior to procedures Assist the surgeon intraoperatively by passing instruments and anticipating procedural needs Ensure proper handling, accountability, and counts of all surgical tools and supplies Adhere strictly to sterile technique and infection control protocols throughout all cases Collaborate closely with the surgical team to support safe, efficient OR operations Local candidates are welcome to apply; a radius rule is in effect and may affect travel pay eligibility depending on distance from the facility COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
