Job Description
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
13-week assignment 5x8 hour shifts: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (PM Shift)Key Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of CVOR-specific experience required BLS (AHA only) certification CST credential Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited or other nationally accredited surgical technologist program (military equivalent accepted) Deep understanding of aseptic and sterile technique, operating room instrumentation, and human anatomy Strong verbal and written communication skillsCore Responsibilities:
Scrub and assist for cardiovascular OR cases, ensuring complete and accurate surgical setups Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields; handle instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently Anticipate and respond to the needs of surgeons and team during procedures Perform surgical counts in compliance with hospital policies Maintain strict adherence to infection control and regulatory guidelines Clean, decontaminate, sterilize, and properly store instruments after each caseBenefits and Perks:
