Yes We are seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist - CVOR to join a leading cardiovascular surgical team in Plano, Texas. This role supports high-acuity cardiac procedures and requires strong experience in cardiovascular operating room environments.
Requirements:
Active BLS Certification (AHA Only) Active CST Certification Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience Recent hands-on experience with Open Heart, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic procedures Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and organize sterile instrumentation and supplies for cardiovascular procedures Maintain sterile field and apply aseptic technique throughout procedures Anticipate surgeon and surgical team needs during operative cases Perform surgical counts and maintain instrument accountability Assist with patient positioning, draping, specimen handling, and procedural support Ensure proper functioning and handling of surgical equipment and instrumentation Support room turnover, decontamination, and preparation for upcoming procedures Follow AORN, OSHA, and infection prevention standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in high-volume CVOR environments Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and cardiovascular procedures Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical settings
