Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program Current certification as a CVOR or Surgical Tech (as applicable) At least one year of recent cardiovascular OR experience preferred Proficiency with sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and supplies specific to CVOR procedures Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room for surgical procedures Anticipate needs of the surgical team and actively participate in case preparation Ensure aseptic technique and proper handling of sterile instruments Support patient safety and quality standards throughout all phases of surgery Assist in room turnover and maintain surgical equipment and documentation
