Qualifications & Experience:
Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent CVOR Tech certification required Minimum one year recent CVOR experience in an acute care setting In-depth understanding of cardiovascular operating room procedures and sterile techniques Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms to ensure optimal patient care Assist surgeons and nurses during cardiovascular procedures, managing instruments and supplies Adhere strictly to aseptic and sterile protocols to maintain patient safety Monitor usage and maintenance of specialized equipment Document patient care and procedural details accurately Actively participate in ongoing safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives
