1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 2+ years of CVOR experience and Epic proficiency for a hospital Surgical Services position in Winchester, VA. Schedule:

4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM, with rotating days off per week On-call requirements include 6-13 on-call shifts within a 4-week period, which may include weekends and holidays 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required VA state license required if applicable; candidates may work under a temporary VA license while the permanent license is pending Epic EMR experience required Hands-on experience with ECMO, IABP, and Maze Ablation equipment required Proficiency scrubbing complex cardiac cases independently Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible US SSN required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Scrub proficiently and independently on complex cardiac surgical cases Float to the main OR to support vascular and thoracic cases as needed Ciel scrub color required; all other attire must comply with Valley Health dress code policy Work experience as a CVOR Tech must be documented for consideration
