How you'll contribute: A OR Surgical Technician who excels in this role: Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Reports to the Director of Surgery/OR.
Patient Populations Served:
Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
Protected Health Information Accessed:
Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
Exposure:
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex. What we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. Minimum of 6 months prior experience in another facility.
