Atmore Community Hospital - Atmore, AL ????
Shift:
Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) ????
Schedule Preference:
7 days on / 7 days off (may be discussed during interview) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Telemetry Technician to monitor cardiac rhythms and support safe patient care. In this role, you will continuously observe cardiac monitors, recognize rhythm changes, and promptly communicate critical findings to the clinical team. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry systems Identify and promptly report arrhythmias or changes in patient status Maintain accurate documentation of rhythm strips and patient observations Notify nurses immediately of life-threatening changes Troubleshoot telemetry equipment and lead placement issues Ensure proper functioning of monitors and alarm systems Maintain a clean, organized monitoring environment Collaborate with nurses and physicians to support patient care Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Completion of a telemetry/EKG interpretation course preferred Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Experience in cardiac monitoring or healthcare setting preferred Ability to recognize common arrhythmias (e.g., AFib, SVT, VTach, heart blocks) Strong attention to detail and communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with electronic health records (EHR) Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and critical-thinking skills Benefits (customize as needed) Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan (401k or similar) Paid time off Career advancement opportunities How to Apply Interested candidates should apply online at: ????
