The Monitor Tech plays a vital role in patient care by continuously observing and interpreting cardiac monitor data to ensure timely and accurate communication of patient status to healthcare professionals. Must be able to work every other weekend and 50% of major holiday Responsibilities Continuously monitor cardiac and respiratory rhythms for multiple patients using telemetry equipment. Identify and communicate any changes or abnormalities in patient status promptly to the nursing and medical staff. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of monitoring activities and incidents. Set up and maintain telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning and patient safety. Assist with routine ECGs and other diagnostic procedures as needed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care plans. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical training or certification preferred. Experience with cardiac monitoring or telemetry technology is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize arrhythmias and other cardiac events. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Basic computer skills for documentation and monitoring software usage. Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced clinical environment. Benefits Competitive hourly wage of $21.00 - $26.00 based on experience. PAY TRANSPARENCY
At Mission Community Hospital we offer a competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Eligibility for our Total Rewards package is based on full-time employment. Other employment status categories may affect eligibility. Depending on the specific role or shift, employees may be eligible for additional compensation (Differential Pay) between $1.00 - $5.00 per hour.
