Tele Monitor Technician Job Summary:
The Tele Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring and interpreting heart rhythms and other vital signs of patients through telemetry equipment. They play a crucial role in identifying irregularities and notifying medical staff in order to ensure proper and timely care for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other vital signs using telemetry equipment. 2. Notify medical staff of any irregularities or abnormal readings. 3. Document and report any changes in patient condition. 4. Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families. 5. Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry equipment as needed. 6. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and privacy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). 3. Previous experience in healthcare or as a monitor technician preferred. 4. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6.
