Exclusively recruiting and Hiring people with disabilities for competitive career opportunities. Patient Monitoring Technician will be based in a centralized control center, where you will observe live video feeds of patients across the hospital network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously monitor live video feeds of assigned patients to identify changes in behavior, movement, or condition. Promptly notify nursing staff or appropriate personnel when intervention is needed. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of observations and incidents in accordance with hospital policies. Collaborate with nursing teams across multiple hospital units to promote patient safety and comfort. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and hospital guidelines. Follow established protocols for responding to patient safety alerts and emergencies. Participate in training and competency evaluations to ensure high standards of monitoring. Communicate clearly and professionally with healthcare team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer skills and ability to learn hospital monitoring systems. Commitment to patient privacy, dignity, and safety. Experience in a healthcare, patient care, or related role, preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, preferred. Previous experience in observation or monitoring roles, a plus.
