Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide essential imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role requires a skilled professional with a background in general ultrasound, eager to make an impact in patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in General Ultrasound imaging techniques. Certified or registered as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer. Solid understanding of clinical protocols and patient safety standards. Strong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with medical teams and patients. Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments and changing priorities. Detail-oriented, with accurate documentation and record-keeping abilities. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations independently and as requested by physicians. Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. Communicate results and procedure details clearly with both patients and healthcare teams. Maintain and calibrate sonographic equipment, reporting any maintenance needs. Strictly adhere to infection prevention and control guidelines. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other professionals to deliver patient-focused care. Respond promptly and professionally to urgent and routine imaging requests.
