Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology (Echo specialty) Current certification in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) Demonstrated proficiency in performing and interpreting Echocardiograms Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging equipment

Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasounds Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the care team to deliver prompt, accurate diagnoses Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide support throughout the imaging process Properly document imaging findings in the EHR system Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to safety guidelines Uphold institution and regulatory standards for infection control and patient privacy
