Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with potential for variable scheduling to accommodate departmental needs
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures efficiently and accurately according to physician orders Maintain cooperative and positive relationships with patients, physicians, and staff across departments Assist physicians during radiology procedures and ensure optimal patient care Organize workflow during peak volumes, communicate pending exams, and support colleagues as needed Manage supply inventory and innovate methods for efficient utilization Handle and clean advanced imaging equipment safely per department policies Adhere to timely on-call response policies and arrive as required Participate in department and hospital in-services, follow dress code, and promote safety and infection control Willingly assist in other radiology areas when needed and support team during downtime
Qualifications:
Credentialed Sonographer with experience in general ultrasound imaging Proficient in operating Philips CVX Epiq and Ellite Epiq machines, and Vasculab ABI machine Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to departmental and hospital policies regarding attendance, safety, dress code, and equipment care
