Ultrasound Technician PRN GastroArkansas - 2.5 Little Rock, AR Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications HIPAA Attention to detail Patient interaction Associate's degree Time management Full Job Description Job Title Ultrasound Technician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations on patients according to physician orders Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment Capture clear and accurate diagnostic images Analyze images for quality and identify normal and abnormal findings Maintain patient records and imaging documentation Follow safety, sanitation, and HIPAA guidelines Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff Ensure patient comfort and professionalism during examinations Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field Certification through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent preferred State licensure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and technical proficiency Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments Skills Knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures Patient care and bedside manner Medical terminology understanding Equipment troubleshooting Time management and organization
