Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, primarily focusing on maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology, along with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and our Medical Director. The Ultrasound Technician will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision, focusing on maternal-fetal assessments and Ob/Gyn imaging. Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Accurately operate sonography equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnosis. Interpret and analyze images, collaborating with our Medical Director to assist in diagnosis. Educate patients about the procedure process, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including images and technical notes. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure patient and staff safety. Keep abreast of advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing professional development. Skills Strong knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine, Ob/Gyn, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Proficiency in sonography techniques and medical imaging principles. Experience with diagnostic radiology procedures is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately. Strong organizational skills for managing patient data and images efficiently. $40,000.00 per year
