Assists Radiologists and other Physicians in the performance of exams and procedures that require a physician. Performs exams in all areas of the hospital such as portables on units, portables in ED and portables in OR. Prepares patients for interventional procedures. Maintains the integrity of a sterile field during procedures that require one. Closes door/draws curtain when providing care. Positions/touches patients with respect. Job Requirements Required High School Diploma/GED less than 1 year to Six months experience performing ultrasound in a clinical setting either training or working Basic Life Support - CPR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Preferred Associates Other Higher college level degree
