Ultrasound Technician at Urology ASC Phoenix
  • Perimeter The Ultrasound Technician performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the evaluation and treatment of urologic patients.
This role is responsible for preparing patients for examinations, operating ultrasound equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment throughout the imaging process. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent required Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required Current ARDMS certification preferred or required based on state regulations Minimum of 1-2 years of ultrasound experience preferred, preferably in urology or outpatient surgery settings Knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures, safety standards, and equipment maintenance Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Familiarity with electronic medical records and medical terminology Current BLS certification required What We Offer As an organization, one way we care for our communities and each other is by providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following, subject to employment status: Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Life and AD&D coverage Availability of short
