Full-Time or Part-Time Join Our Growing Team AGHA Medical is an expanding Interventional Radiology practice opening a new, state-of-the-art outpatient Surgery Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images. This position offers the opportunity to work with experienced Interventional Radiologists in a modern outpatient environment utilizing advanced imaging technology. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Perform vascular ultrasound studies, including venous insufficiency, venous mapping, arterial, carotid, and abdominal vascular examinations (preferred). Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainages, and vascular access. Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout the examination. Review patient history and clinical information to ensure appropriate imaging is performed. Recognize and document normal and abnormal findings for physician interpretation. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality. Accurately document examinations and maintain complete patient records within the electronic health record (EHR). Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and quality assurance protocols. Maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver outstanding patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Current ARDMS certification required. RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification strongly preferred or willingness to obtain. Minimum of one year of ultrasound experience preferred. Experience in vascular ultrasound and interventional radiology is highly desirable. Current BLS certification preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Experience with PACS and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) preferred.
