Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Advance your career with an opportunity focused on delivering high-quality patient care in the field of diagnostic imaging. This contract position seeks a highly skilled professional specializing in Echocardiography to perform essential imaging procedures and collaborate with a dynamic clinical team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in Echocardiography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography Current ARDMS or CCI certification in Echocardiography Experience performing and interpreting a wide range of echocardiographic procedures (Transthoracic, Stress, and Doppler echoes) Proven competency with ultrasound equipment and technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient interactions Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols Accurately acquire and analyze cardiac images to assist physicians with diagnoses and treatment plans Maintain careful patient records and prepare detailed procedure documentation Ensure ultrasound equipment is maintained and calibrated for optimal performance Uphold patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, explaining processes clearly Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Adhere to all hospital and regulatory standards regarding patient care and confidentiality This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in a professional, supportive environment where you will play a pivotal role in cardiac diagnostics.
