Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer skilled in both General and OB imaging. This position is suited for a seasoned professional prepared to excel in a dynamic, high-acuity environment, specifically within a level 1 trauma center. Your ability to efficiently manage a high patient volume while delivering accurate and compassionate care will make you a vital asset to this healthcare team.
Key Qualifications:
Current ARDMS certification is required Demonstrated proficiency in both General and OB ultrasound imaging Prior experience working efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced settings Strong attention to detail and capability to prioritize workflow Solid communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including both general and obstetric exams, ensuring diagnostic quality images Triage and manage workflow in a level 1 trauma center setting, supporting the needs of physicians and other clinical staff Collaborate with colleagues to provide timely and accurate imaging for urgent and routine cases Maintain equipment and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed Accurately document and report findings using electronic medical records systems
