The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing compassionate patient care and maintaining accurate documentation 8 hours a week, potential for increase of hours depending on patient load. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a focus on Abdomen Complete studies Prepare patients for procedures and explain the ultrasound process clearly and professionally Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to facility protocols Capture high-quality images for physician interpretation Review patient history and verify orders prior to procedures Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times Collaborate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow Qualifications Current certification through ARDMS or equivalent required Minimum [1-2] years of ultrasound experience preferred Experience performing Abdomen Complete exams required Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic techniques Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment BLS certification preferred Schedule & Compensation Flexible part time scheduling available Competitive pay based on experience Why Join Our Team?
