Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient's body.

    • + Perform
    • diagnostic ultrasound procedures
    • per physician orders + Capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues + Assist in diagnosing conditions like
    • cardiac issues, pregnancy, and cancer
    • + Provide patient education and support during procedures + Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment + Support and mentor junior staff when needed

    • Minimum Requirements
    • + Minimum
    • 2 years of recent ultrasound experience
    • + Experience must be
    • within the last 3 years
    • + Graduate of an
    • accredited Ultrasound program
    • + •ARDMS Certification
    REQUIRED
    • in one or more: + Abdomen (AB) + Obstetrics (OB) + Vascular (RVT)

    • Minimum Requirements:
    • + A certification from an accredited ultrasound school + One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred. + Current CPR if applicable + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
