Job Description

Salary Range:
$41.89 - $57.75 Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.
Position Summary:
Performs Ultrasound exams on both in and out patients Assists radiologist in Ultrasound guided procedures Must work well under stress or tight deadlines. Must work well with supervisors, co-workers, patients/residents, family members and visitors.

Supervisor Essential Functions:
The ability to sit for extended periods. The ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English. The ability to answer phones in a professional manner. The ability to use a keyboard. The ability to hold and maneuver transducer for protracted periods. The ability to be supervised. The ability to work as a Team. The ability to have positive personal interactions with staff, patients/residents and visitors.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
Sufficient to apply for ARDMS exam.
Experience:
Prior work experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred.
Certifications:
Obtain ARDMS licensure within 1 year,
BLS Skills/Ability:
Ability to perform or be trained in full range of exams performed in department.
