Job Description

About the Role Agape Medical Group West PC is hiring a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Breast Imaging to support breast imaging operations at BeSound, a preventive breast imaging platform based in Los Angeles. BeSound's flagship is on Melrose Ave, with a second location in Beverly Hills and a mobile imaging unit launching this summer. This position begins at three full-day shifts to start, with potential to pick up additional shifts as needed across our Melrose Ave, Beverly Hills, and mobile imaging locations as volume grows. BeSound offers access to the GE Invenia ABUS system, FDA-approved for dense breast tissue, with AI-assisted reading and imaging interpreted by licensed physicians. The patient population is primarily women with dense breasts and those seeking proactive screening. This is a high-standards clinical environment. What You'll Do Perform breast ultrasound exams using the GE Invenia ABUS system following established clinical protocols and safety standards Support diagnostic imaging workflows when clinically indicated following an ABUS scan Document patient history, imaging findings, and technical notes accurately and thoroughly, with no shortcuts Maintain complete imaging records in compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements Support a calm, reassuring patient experience from check-in through scan completion, especially for patients navigating an unfamiliar or emotionally significant process Coordinate with licensed physicians, patient care coordinators, and clinical operations to support timely follow-up Contribute to workflow refinement as the platform scales across locations and formats What We're Looking For Active ARDMS certification with Breast specialty (RDMS) credential Minimum five years of breast ultrasound experience in a clinical setting GE Invenia ABUS experience strongly preferred, other advanced breast ultrasound experience welcome Current BLS or CPR certification Exceptionally detail-oriented with clean documentation habits Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where protocols are actively being refined Strong communicator who can guide patients through the process with clarity and empathy Experience with pelvic, thyroid, or additional ultrasound modalities is a plus as service offerings expand Physical Requirements This role involves prolonged standing, repetitive arm and hand motion, and sustained transducer pressure throughout the scanning day.
