Local Pay:

$48•52/hr ($1,920•2,080/week) (Based on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, ensure exceptional patient care, and maintain imaging quality standards while collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety. Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Review images for technical quality and completeness prior to submission for interpretation. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Ensure compliance with safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards. Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff regarding patient care and imaging needs. Monitor and report equipment issues to ensure optimal functionality. Assist with workflow management and prioritize imaging requests appropriately. Participate in on-call coverage as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care at all times. Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program. Licensure & Certifications ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) required. ARDMS certification in at least one specialty category required. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required. Current BLS Certification required. Experience Minimum two (2) years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience required. Experience performing general ultrasound examinations required. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures and equipment. Excellent patient assessment and communication skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong attention to detail and image quality standards. Effective organizational and multitasking abilities. Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
