Possible Night Coverage Position Overview We are seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Technologist to join a collaborative diagnostic imaging team in Petaluma, California. The Ultrasound Tech will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging for physician interpretation. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout examinations Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic standards are met Document findings accurately within EMR systems Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols Assist with workflow management and departmental operations as needed Requirements Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Current ARDMS Certification Required Minimum 1 Year of Recent General Ultrasound Experience Preferred BLS Certification Required Strong Knowledge of Ultrasound Imaging Techniques and Anatomy Experience Performing General Diagnostic Ultrasound Studies EMR Experience Preferred Ability to Adapt to Variable Shift Start Times Strong Communication and Patient Care Skills Ability to Work Independently in a Fast-Paced Clinical Environment For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
